volunteer for the black is enough symposium

Friday, March 29 is PART II of the Black is Enough Symposium by Juneteenth Renaissance Institute. Juneteenth Renaissance Institute is a local nonprofit working within the Black community and with all communities to create unity, well-being, and economic parity. This event contributes to creating a strong community for Black New Mexicans by providing space for healing, discussion, and knowledge sharing.

All volunteering will take place at the Greater Albuquerque Association of Realtors Event Facility at 1635 University Blvd. NE, ABQ 87102.

We have two flexible days with multiple volunteer opportunities to support this popular event:

• Thursday, March 28, between 10:30 am – 4:30 pm 
  • Setup (including moving tables and chairs, sorting registration packets, and setting up materials). 
• ****Friday, March 29, between 8am – 5pm 
  • Event support (registration support, food serving, cleanup, running materials, clean-up)

****We thank you for your understanding that a main objective of this event to provide intentional space for black folks, africans, people of african descent, melanated peoples, biracial/mixed with black, etc. We ask that folks who represent this community sign-up to volunteer on the event day (Friday).
